The spotlight at Cafe Korvari is undoubtedly on the korvapuusti, traditional Finnish cinnamon rolls. The generous servings echo the sentiments of satisfied patrons who describe their first taste as a moment of peace and comfort, as if they were enveloped in a hug from home.

Beyond the iconic korvapuusti, the menu also features a selection of hearty options like the Täytetty Ruisleipä, a filling rye bread sandwich at €4.20, and the delightful Rukiinen Karjalanpiirakka served with egg butter for just €2.90. For breakfast enthusiasts, the Aamupala meal offers a delightful mix of coffee, fresh juice, a boiled egg, yogurt, and porridge for €8.50—the ideal way to kick-start your morning.

This cafe is like stepping into a time machine, going to the early 90s. But like the name suggests, this place is all about cinnamon rolls (korvari or korvapuusti) and they bake them non-stop, always fresh and mostly still warm! The current owner has been running this place since 1990 but the cafe already opened in the 60s. This reminds me of the original Kaisan Cafe in Tapiola in all the right ways. So good!!

After a sleepless night full of stress, I ordered from Cafe Korvari at 5:50 AM rye Karelian pie with egg butter, a korvapuusti, and coffee. I took the first bite and honestly, I teared up. It tasted like home, like comfort, like someone cared. So simple, so warm, so real. Deepest thanks to whoever owns this place you brought me peace when I needed it most.

Simple and reliable breakfast cafe, operated by friendly owner. It is open very early and always has the same non-adventurous options, nearly the same patrons and definitely the same stuck-in-time feel. Hidden gem for early birds or overnighters

Old time athmosphere with nice coffe and pastries. Have the bacon egg and ham sandwich cold it is incredible!

It is the coffee shop that's open really really at the morning, 6:00 to 13:00, the coffee is delicious and you can find some paninis and more

The best cinnamon roll/Korvapuustit in Helsinki especially you are lucky to be there when the rolls come out from the oven. I want to keep this place just to the locals and myself, but I think a lot of people know...

Place to be when near by good coffee and chinnamon buns !
